Abstract EN
This study aimed to understand the current reality of physical exercise practice during physical education classes in primary education.
it found that the practice does not align with the developmental needs and demands of primary school students.
this misalignment is due to a lack of facilities and resources dedicated to physical exercise, as well as a significant absence of specialized teachers in this subject.
a descriptive method suited to the nature of the study was used on a random sample of teachers from some primary schools (80 teachers).
one of the key findings was the absence of sports equipment and infrastructure, especially when pedagogical lessons are either too short or delayed, consequently depriving children of their fundamental right to play.
