The current research aims to identify the order of family upbringing methods (democratic، authoritarian، neglect، assertiveness) among middle school students، as well as to identify the significance of statistical differences in family upbringing methods (democratic، authoritarian، neglect، assertiveness) among middle school students according to the gender variable.

Males - females) for the diagnosed sample، and in order to achieve the researcher’s goals، the two researchers adopted the family upbringing methods scale for (Al-Kaabi، 2015) according to Bandura’s theory of social learning، and the number of the scale’s items reached (32) items، and after verifying its psychometric properties of validity and stability And discrimination was applied to the sample of (400) male and female students from the preparatory stage، which was chosen by the random method for the academic year 2021-2022 The results were the following:(The firmness method is the dominant method among the research sample، because it obtained the highest arithmetic mean of (9.1364)، followed by the neglect method، and after it the democratic method and the authoritarian method، There are no differences in the methods that parents follow in raising their children، whether they are males or females.
