This paper seeks to delve into a contemporary paradigm of Algerian feminist novels, aiming to elucidate the subjugation inherent in male-centric narratives and unravel the intricate mechanisms of patriarchal dominance within societies steeped in exclusionary norms towards women.

the heightened tension between the binary dynamics of male and female, center and periphery, emerges as a palpable consequence of this prevailing dominance.

against this backdrop, the study adopts a hermeneutic approach to scrutinize and interrogate the latent thematic patterns within the late Dehia Louise's novel, “I will cast myself before you.” serving as a vital exemplar, the novel unveils the fragmentation of the feminine self in Algerian society, specifically within the Kabyle community.

this socio-cultural milieu is governed by a dogmatic patriarchal apparatus that privileges the male archetype, relegating the female counterpart to a subordinate position.

it is conceivable that this unjust bias serves as a catalyst for the latent aspirations of eve to reclaim her usurped rights and establish herself as an autonomous entity worthy of acknowledgment and validation within societal confines.

her declaration of rebellion against the entrenched misogynistic vestiges, which impede her efficacy, signifies a foray into the realms of rebellion and resistance.
