the Islamic scholars employs it in matters that have two possible interpretations, adopting the most reliable interpretation and the one farthest from the blemishes of misinterpretation to remove doubt and uncertainty and stand at the limits set by god almighty, the Malikis have adopted this principle and expanded its application, just as they have expanded the application of the principle of blocking the means to wrongdoing in all areas of jurisprudence it has numerous applications, especially in family jurisprudence, where this is clearly evident in the chapter of divorce.

we find that the Malikis have based many divorce rulings on the principle of precaution in its various aspects of application.

they ruled that three divorces are binding, all of this out of precaution to preserve chastity and protect it from the occurrence of adultery, acting upon the principle of "preserving chastity takes precedence over preserving wealth".
