Abstract EN

This study was conducted in one of the private fields, from 6/12/2021 to 2/2/2022, to determine the effect of adding the Iraqi bio-enhancer to feed on some blood traits of Chinese ducks.

A total of 75 unsexed one-day-old chicks of Chinese ducks, it was randomly distributed to 5 treatments with 3 replicates for each treatment (5 chicks for each replicate).

The treatments were as follows; T1: control treatment, T2, T3, T4 and T5 were added the Iraqi probiotic at levels of 2.5, 5, 7.5 and 10 g/ kg of the basal diet, respectively.

The results indicate a significant increase in glucose and LDL cholesterol albumin, globulin, total protein, calcium and phosphorous and a decrease in triglycerides, with no significant differences in HDL.
