this study aims to collect، document and analyse the grammatical, morphological and phonological opinions of al-Akhfash on the footnotes of Sibawayh's book.

I started the discussion about the life of Sibawayh and al-Akhfash and their scientific efforts، and then Introducing the footnotes book and its importance In the first chapter، it dealt with: al-Akhfash's opinions in which he disagreed with Sibawayh، and it was divided into three sections: the first: the phonetic opinions of al-Akhfash in which he disagreed with Sibawayh، the second the morphological opinions of Al-Akhfash in which he disagreed with Sibawayh، and the third، the grammatical opinions of al-Akhfash in which he disagreed with Sibawayh.
