Electronic trading is considered as a result of information technology revolution, which was emerged at the beginning of using computers and internet.

that led to implement and apply such legal operations remotely based on what those technologies offer to us, as it is faster and low-cost achieving manner.

that is why such technology conforms to the concept and basic fundamentals of the commercial code which strive for speed and profits.

thus, the electronic transactions were popular and required.

as those operations might be applied by two different assets remotely which might not know each other, it requires a third-party intrusion in order to ensure that these operations are real and authenticated between them out of forgery and manipulation as well as to guarantee the electronic signature for each one of them.

therefore, this paper adopts and takes on a discussion to clarify the aspect of electronic archive and documentation, along with putting a definition of what electronic archive is, identifying its basic principles and for what archive certificate stands for.

this study has explained the terms and determinations of the electronic archive by identifying which doing it and all the commandments that apply into authentication authorities and eventually the actual authorities’ duties and accountabilities.
