It is no secret that most of the historical sources included between their covers information and references through which we can stand on facts and knowledge that were not clear during their narration or intended, Or that it was a blurry vision when mentioning its contents and news, Perhaps the clearest testimonies of these topics are the defensive castles and fortresses mentioned in the book (Ajaab al-Maqdour fi Akhbar Timur) by Ibn Arabshah, When we studied this book and surveyed the defensive fortresses that were mentioned in it, we came across a large number of the names of the castles that came in the narration of Timor's news, We may find that its author, Ibn Arabshah, sometimes touched on the locations of those castles, He described it, and how it fell at the hands of Timur, and the importance of this book lies in the fact that it specialized in Timur's movements and wars and how he seized cities, castles and cities during his rule, In addition, this book contains the names of castles for which we did not find a mention in books and other sources except the book (Ajaab al-Maqdour).
