Statement of the problem : The pattern of "faol" is defined by (structural similarity).

It comes as infinitive, as a noun and as an adjective; it carries the meaning of a subject or object.

It signifies singular and plural.

We find the same pattern in Arabic proper nouns as well.

Questions of the study : Is this pattern characterized by semantic variety in the Holy Quran? What are the semantic purposes of this pattern in the Holy Quran? What are the evidences that the interpreters depend on, to specify its meanings in every position of the Holy Quran.

The content of the study : This study includes an introduction, followed by five scopes.

Every scope defines one of the meaning purposes of this pattern in the Holy Quran; then, the conclusion includes the results and references.
