مقدمة: يمكن أن يكون لتوقيت انتقال الرضع من الحليب إلى الأطعمة التكميلية ونوع النظام الغذائي آثار مهمة على صحتهم.
هدف الدراسة: دراسة العوامل المرتبطة بإدخال الأغذية التكميلية للرضع الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 4-12 شهرا في العاصمة عمان.
الطريقة مسح مقطعي في مدينة عمان، عاصمة الأردن، بين مارس ويوليو 2022 والذي جمع بيانات حول ممارسات التغذية بين أمهات الرضع الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 4 و12 شهرا.
العينة اشتملت العينة على 415 رضيعا تتراوح أعمارهم بين 4-12 شهرا النتائج: أشارت الدراسة إلى أن عدد الأطفال الذين تم تقديم الغذاء التكميلي لهم في سن 6 أشهر بلغ (231)، بينما بلغ عدد الأطفال الذين تم تقديم الغذاء التكميلي لهم في عمر أقل من 6 أشهر (184)، أوضحت الدراسة أيضا أن أكثر أنواع الأطعمة شيوعا المقدمة للأطفال الأكبر من ستة أشهر كانت الحبوب بنسبة 28.2%، بينما كانت أكثر أنواع الأطعمة المقدمة لأولئك الذين تقل أعمارهم عن 6 أشهر كانت خضروات مهروسة بنسبة 25.3%..
English Abstract
Introduction: The timing of the transition of infants from milk to complementary foods and the type of the diet can have important effects on their health.
Aim of the study :Study the factors associated with the introduction of complementary foods to infants of age range from 4 -12 months in the capital Amman Method : A cross- sectional survey in Amman city, the capital of Jordan, between March and July 2022, which gathered data on feeding practices among mothers of infants aged 4- 12 months.
Sample : The sample included 415 infants of age range from 4 -12 months Results : The study indicated that the number of infants who were given complementary food at the age ≥6 months was (231), while the infants who were given complementary food at the age <6 months was (184), the study also showed that the most common type of food for children ≥6 older than six months was cereal with 28.2% and that most types of food provided to those who are <6 months were mashed vegetables by 25.3%.
