The root (SBB) and its derivatives in the Holy Qur'an have different connotations according to the context in which it is mentioned, as the root is mentioned in the Holy Qur'an eleven places.

The approach used in the research was based on the lexical, contextual and semantic meaning contained in the Qur'anic verses, and its relationship to the root meaning.

In this research, we have relied on language books, interpretations, books on the meanings of the Qur'an, grammatical and morphological books.
