Abstract EN

The study aims to focus on the impact of the Holy Qur’an on Al-Farazdaq’s poetry; That is due to Qur’an prominent influence on the tools o f poetry, and we notice this clearly in Islamic literature, by concentrating on the Arab heritage, such studies renew the understanding of the of Islamic literature in particular, and Arabic literature in general.

Research Methodology: The nature of the research requires the use of the historical method to determine the features of the personality, trace his life and document his scientific influences, then the descriptive and analytical method, to monitor the scientific material and of his poems and elicit his deep meanings and analyzing, and then educe the results from them.

Research Results: It is natural for Al- Farazdaq had been affected by the controversy and discussions that have been emerged around him, which offered him the opportunity to attend the seminars of scholars, had benefited from them, and then about the forms of debates and method of measurements as his poetry had been distinguished by a set of features.

Research Recommendations: Based on this research we should recommend that Arabic literature study should be reviewed, in order to adapt with current requirements of modernity and evolution, and enhances the indigenization of Islamic literature, which achieves the leadership of Holy Quran and its impact on the poetry and poets … ancients and modern poets.
