Abstract EN

This study Includes the British policy in the condominium era between 1899-1956.

This study discusses the interaction of political entities in Kordofan with the Anglo-Egyptian rule and the implementation of decentralized rule and local government system in Kordofan and its influence in the social, political life.

Through the application of the historical, descriptive and analytic method which depends on the sources, documents and previous studies on Kordofan, besides the negative in impact of their policies particularly in the implementation of decentralization system of government when the British employees dominated the administrative offices and the local government system which did not elect but employed the rulers, so it appointed persons whom were not desired by local residents, besides the policy targeted the unification of Kordofan and ended in the secession of it to north and south.
