Abstract EN

The study attempts to focus on Lutfi Abdel-Latif's poetry as it is distinguished by many artistic phenomena, including the deep impact of the religious text in his poetic texts.

That led to a kind of intertextuality and the subsequent artistic employment of it.

The study also tries to trace the impact of the religious text and how the poet employs it, whether such text is Qur’anic or the noble Hadith Tradition.

It also seeks to show how the poet uses such texts to express his thoughts and embody his poetic visions and how this is brought about by the intertextuality in building the poetic image, symbols and personae.

In approaching poetic texts, the study adopted on a combination of critical approaches (textual and contextual) in an attempt to combine textual structure and meaning.
