Abstract EN

The current research dealt with "Cultural Pressure in Contemporary American Ceramics", where cultural pressure in philosophical and aesthetic thought and its role in postmodern arts and the accompanying development of the conditions and crises of the capitalist industrial society were studied.

As well as the growing sense of the role of the potter in creating artistic and aesthetic sculptural work, and how he contributed to replacing the artistic and aesthetic vision of American ceramic art, through its openness to the neighboring artistic genres.

The study is summarized in four chapters, the first chapter is the methodological framework and includes the research problem, the importance of the research and the research objective, which was summarized to identify the cultural pressures in contemporary American ceramics As for the limits of the research, they can be summarized by the objective limits and the spatial and temporal limits between the period from (1) and then defining and defining the terms contained therein.

As for the second chapter (the theoretical framework), it contained two parts, the first dealt with the concept of social culture pressures, while the second topic included (contemporary American ceramics), and the second chapter ended with an explanation.

The most important indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework and previous studies, while the third chapter included (research procedures), which included each of the research community (descriptive approach) and presented (3) a model that was deliberately selected and analyzed.
