The research deals with one of the largest human experiences that established a global system for mankind to achieve: global stability, security, and peace, namely, the League of Nations, which was established under the League’s Charter in 1919 AD; Established by the victorious countries in the First World War, and succeeded in gathering all the peace-loving countries of the world into one international government, agreeing on its principles, objectives, and conditions.

This League adopted three basic mechanisms by which it was able to implement its principles, objectives, and conditions, namely: the collective security mechanism, the peace mechanism for disputes, and the disarmament mechanism.

Five permanent seats were designated for its membership, representing the five victorious countries, and nine chosen by the General Assembly according to the organization’s conditions.

, especially those related to stand-alone governments, and the political stability of the acceding country.

Despite the success achieved by this organization, it was not able to implement the most important thing for which it came: the global peace resolution, which has become in great danger since many member states violated the League’s terms in the 1930s, which contributed to its weakness, but rather And its collapse later, in addition to what the League was subjected to from the betrayal of its largest sponsor state: the United States of America, which withdrew from it since 1920 due to the US Senate’s opposition to the policy of international cooperation for peace, and the government’s encouragement to continue its military operations.
