Abstract EN

Ender equality is a fundamental principle for the development of society.

For women to be able to participate in this process, they must first enjoy their fundamental rights and occupy their place in the public space in an egalitarian manner as men, and they must also have access to property and participate in the formulation a policy that will enable the establishment of land governance.

In Morocco, where land is marked by the duality of regimes and the plurality of statuses, the land of ethnic communities is an important issue for the agricultural and rural development of the country.

From the creation of the status of the lands of ethnic communities in the colonial era, this status was intended to allow the necessary economic, social and political development of the country.

In the absence of a legal definition of the ethnic community, we can say that generally, the ethnic community can be defined as being a homogeneous human group of the same ancestry, long established either because of the waves of immigration that Morocco had known.

throughout its history, either by assignments of the Sultans or administrative authorities on a territorial space called "Lands of the Ethnic Communities".

They are characterized by their diversity and they are divided into irrigated or marshy agricultural lands, pastoral lands, lands urbanizable, forestry and even in quarries and mines The new legal framework governing ethnic communities is in perfect harmony with the efforts made by Morocco with regard to equality and the fight against gender discrimination and with the fundamental principles of the Moroccan constitution as well as the fundamental recommendations of the national dialogue, during the Skhiraten 2015 meeting
