In the context of our study of contracts related to commercial intermediaries in Mauritanian law – a comparative study, we addressed this study in two demands: We dealt with the first requirement of the mediation contract and brokerage, where we dealt with this requirement in two paragraphs, we devoted the first to the mediation contract and the second to the brokerage contract.

And we came to the conclusion that mediation has several meanings.

It is called the work that a person does to reconcile between the disputants.

The mediator is a reforming convention, and mediation also means the middle person between two people to conclude a contract.

We studied the mediation contract in terms of the concept (first) and then the effects of (second) In the second paragraph of this requirement, we dealt with the brokerage contract: A broker is a person who usually practices the profession of linking people in order to facilitate, accomplish, or conclude agreements, transactions or negotiations between these persons.

We discussed the brokerage contract in terms of its definition and the obligations of the broker.

In the second requirement, we dealt with the commercial agency contract, and we found that the commercial agent is a person delegated and charged as the owner of an independent profession and always to negotiate and possibly conclude contracts for purchase, sale and leasing or to provide services in the name and for the benefit of producers, industrialists, merchants or other commercial agents without being associated with them with a contract of work.
