Abstract EN

In this study, we relied on the multiple calibration technique to identify the effect of age structure, the proportion of married women, and marital fertility on increasing the crude birth rate.

we applied the Bonqart model to estimate the effect of mediating factors on changes in marital fertility during the period (2002-2019).

in this study, we used data from the national family health survey 2002, and multiple indicator cluster surveys completed in 2012-2013 and 2019.

we concluded that the main reason for the CBR moving from 21.46 to 25.79 per thousand in the 2013 survey was the increase in the percentage of non-single women of childbearing age.

the slight decline in this rate in the 2019 survey was due to the effect of age structure.
