Despite the emergence of the principle of precaution initially in the field of the environment, however it has been adopted in the area of private law as a transition to the field of private law, specifically the law on consumer protection and the suppression of fraud, as the Algerian legislator did not hesitate to set the general framework for consumer protection from pollutants allowed to be used in food, even with scientific uncertainty in line with the concept of food safety.
