Abstract EN

The aim of the current study was to assess the level of psychological immunity among children residing in a rescue childhood institution.

we adopted a case study approach with a sample consisting of two children residing in rescue institutions, and utilized the following tools: structured interview and the psychological immunity scale by researcher Reham Walid Ibrahim Abouzeid (2018), ensuring its validity and reliability.

the study found that indicators of high-level psychological resilience among rescued children include: positive thinking, problem-solving skills, self-confidence, self-regulation and balance, self-efficacy, optimism and a positive outlook on the future, and finding meaning in life.

on the other hand, indicators of low-level psychological immunity l include: succumbing to failure and isolation, loss of joy and pleasure in life, mental rigidity and closure, loss of self-control and self-regulation, and susceptibility to suggestion.
