The phenomenon of the info emic and disinformation on social networks that marked the COVID-19 pandemic crisis is an illustrative example of the complexity of dealing with topics related to health and pandemics on social networks.
the interest of this article will focus on the influence and roles of social networks during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
we have tried to explain the phenomena of the info emic and disinformation that characterize this type of information through social media.
and to achieve the objectives of the study and better analyze this phenomenon, we opted for a descriptive method.
the results of the study demonstrated the incredible and inevitable influence of social networks and the complexity of combating false health information.
regarding the recommendations, we can mention among others; the need to be more careful in online research on health information, the obligation for social media companies to fully assume their social responsibilities in times of crisis.
