International punishment is considered the inevitable result when the international criminal responsibility of individuals is proven, but to what extent does international criminal justice contribute to determining international punishment? the aim of this study is to define the concept of international punishment and its issuance, based on an analytical approach in textual criticism, a descriptive approach in the statement, and a comparative approach to the rules and provisions.

it concluded with results, the most important of which is that the international criminal court system accurately clarifies the types of punishments and their circumstances, and specifies the rules for exemption from punishment and the statute of limitations thereof.
