Ain el Qsiba (the Kasbah of the city of Cherchell) still includes, to this day, many residences and houses whose construction dates back to the Ottoman period.

despite the various natural and human factors that have negatively affected the structure of most of these buildings, there are some of them that still maintain their original layout, and this is precisely the subject of our paper.

in this research, we will describe and analyze examples of residential architecture in the city of Cherchell dating back to the ottoman era.
