This research paper aims to identify the extent to which educational institutions, especially universities, respond to the reasons for change, which are still modest and do not rise to a differential level, and also aims to identify the most important manifestations of weakness in keeping pace with the cultural and social change taking place in developed countries.

For this reason, the researcher prepared this study to identify the reality of the culture of change in the Algerian university, by answering the following questions: 1- What is meant by the culture of change, and what is the role of the university in promoting a culture of change? 2- What is the reality of the culture of change in the educational curricula at the Algerian university? 3- How can the role of the Algerian University be activated in spreading the culture of change?
