This study aims to carry out the task of internal auditing on the management of pharmaceutical products in public health institutions in Algeria in accordance with the international reference framework for professional practices of internal auditing, and to highlight the importance of the task to improve and control more the management of the pharmacy service in public health institutions.

The management of pharmaceutical products in public health institutions in Algeria is carried out in accordance with Ministerial Circular No.

Starting from identifying needs, then the acquisition procedures included within the provisioning function (ordering, receiving, storing, distribution); And by matching what the circular stipulates with what is practiced in the field allows for the discovery of imbalances and differences that result in risks that must be scrutinized in order to correct them and prevent them from recurring in the future
