Abstract EN

The hearing impaired, like other people with special needs, face many difficulties in the linguistic, social, psychological and academic fields.

In order to try to help them, remove their isolation, integrate them into society and support them to be able to learn and succeed in the academic field.

Many researchers have studied the phonological awareness skills of the hearing impaired with cochlear implants and the disabled classically auditory equipped.

Indeed, phonological awareness is considered an essential and basic element in the acquisition of oral language and learning to read and write.

This study aimed to shed light on the skills of phonological awareness, as well as studies that dealt with the levels of phonological awareness of hearing-impaired students (cochlear implants and classical equipment).
