The article addresses the Islamic call in confronting external challenges -the challenge of homosexuality as a model-and tackles the following problematic: are the purposes of the Islamic call achieved in the spread of the phenomenon of homosexuality? to answer this, a conceptual study of the topic's terminologies was conducted, followed by a historical overview of sexual deviation, its main forms and causes, the promotion of the phenomenon and its prominent means and methods, its danger to the Islamic societies, how the Islamic call confronted it, and finally, the study concluded with the stance of positive laws and Islamic law towards the phenomenon of homosexuality.

the study concluded several important results, the most important of which are: the position of Arab legislation and Islamic sharia on homosexuality is criminalized and strictly prohibited, as it is contrary to natural instincts and has moral, social, health, and psychological harms, and it’s a challenge to achieving the Islamic call’s goals and objectives.
