Program evaluation is one of the most important practices necessary to improve the educational system with all its institutions and programs.

realizing this vital role of evaluation, the current paper aims to introduce one of the most common evaluation models, which is the experts-oriented model.

based on the descriptive and analytical approach to the subject, the paper presents the definition of the model and its various categories with a focus on academic accreditation as the most used widely, and reviews models of number of evaluation studies that have been adopted the experts-oriented model.
