This article is about high lightening one of the historical pillars that the Muslims in western have in 8th Hijri, who was the historian "Lissan Eddine ibn Elkhatib" Elgharnati, the companion of the scholar "Abderrahman ibn Khaldoune" where we try to clarify his historical thought by focusing on the concept of the history for this historian and his explanation the events, comparing facts and his position towards the previous historians approaches and how did they benefit it? from his works, there is a history philosophy Practising that ibn el Khatib's tongue contributed in historical writing in western Islamic and what extent he influenced on the coming historian, we show the main elements which influenced his historical method forming.
