Abstract EN

The study aimed to investigate the level of cyberbullying prevalence and the extent of its impact on university students.

it also sought to identify the most common forms of cyberbullying among students at Guelma university.

the research was conducted through a field study on a sample of 198 male and female students from the social sciences department, randomly selected at Guelma 8 May 1945 university.

the descriptive method was used, and the cyberbullying scale (victim version) developed by Amina el-Shanawey was applied after verifying its psychometric properties in the current study on a subsample of 40 students.

the data was statistically analyzed using SPSS software.

the findings of this study revealed that the level of cyberbullying prevalence among students is moderate.

exclusion was identified as the most common form of cyberbullying experienced by students.

furthermore, statistically significant gender differences were found in the level of cyberbullying prevalence, favoring males.
