The current study aimed to know the level of academic self-efficacy among a sample of third year secondary students, and the detection of differences according to the variable (gender, academic specialization, and private lessons)in order to achieve the objectives of the study, the Ahmed el-Zeq self-efficacy scale was relied upon, on a sample of 60 male and female high school students, randomly selected, in the Wilayat of Batna for the school year 2021 / 2022, after statistical processing of the data, the following results were obtained,(the level of academic self-efficacy is medium for the third year secondary school students, the results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the study sample due to each of the variables of gender and academic specialization.
