Abstract EN

Due to developments observed throughout the world and in Algeria in particular at all levels, including technological progress, this case has led to the exacerbation of the phenomenon of crime, as well as to the emergence of a sect that did not exist before, which has provoked the international legislator, including the Algerian legislator, to adopt special procedures for research and investigation to seize persons involved in the commission of offences, in accordance with law 06-01 on the prevention and control of corruption, as well as law 06-22 amending the Algerian Code of Criminal Procedure, which followed the rhythm of comparative legislation, in particular French and Egyptian.

The controlled extradition procedure is one of the most important special investigation procedures that have been adopted, which are usually conducted by judicial police officers with the authorization of the public prosecutor.
