This study aims to try to determine the conceptual approach to both armaments and disarmament, as well as to identify the concepts that are compatible with them, and then to determine the relationship that links these concepts to each other.

the problem of the study was as follows: what are the most important concepts that can be relied upon in the interpretation of armaments and disarmament? in my study of the subject of the conceptual approach to armament and disarmament, i reached many conclusions, the most prominent of which is that it is not possible to talk about disarmament as long as relations between states are based on suspicion, uncertainty and interest, not to mention the constant value that security enjoys in international relations.
