Abstract EN

The current research aims to clarify the rulings related to security and safety in the home, derived from the Quran and Sunnah in accordance with what stipulated in the authentic hadiths.

These rulings serve to protect the Muslim and safeguard their property, and they contribute to the general welfare of individuals and society by adhering to the teachings of the Shariah.

These have been elaborated upon in seven matters: closing the doors, offering greetings upon entering the house "saying hello", restraining children in the evening, extinguishing the fire before sleeping, fermenting vessels and replenishing water containers, shaking off the bedding before sleeping, and avoiding sleeping in an unenclosed rooftop.

And this explanation is based on mentioning the sayings of scholars regarding each matter, and mentioning the reason for which the command or prohibition was stated, along with explaining its connection to safety and security, and then making a determination between them.

The research concluded with several important results; • The elevation of Islam and its precedence in emphasizing the importance of safety and security in the lives of Muslims, especially concerning their safety and security within their dwellings.

• The rulings of Islamic Sharia are valid in every time and place.

These rulings regarding safety and security apply to all types of dwellings, whether small or large, new or old, since the time of prophethood".
