تقارب هذه الورقة البحثية موضوع شعرية الصحراء في رواية " الملحد بقي بن يقظان" للكاتب الجزائري عبد الرشيد هميسي من حيث كون الصحراء مثلت الفضاء الحاسم الذي احتضن التحول الجذري في حياة البطل.
وقد شملت المقاربة شعرية العتبات ببيان مدى الانسجام والتناغم بين إشاراتها القولية الدالة، وسيرورة الأحداث وتحولاتها الدرامية.
كما وقفنا على شعرية الوصف والسرد التي أضاءت أبعاد المكان وتحولاته الواقعية والنفسية بالتوازي مع صيرورة الأحداث، مع الإشارة إلى ما تعكسه الرواية ــ ضمنيا ــ حول طبيعة العلاقة مع الآخر الحضاري في ضوء ثنائية (روحانية الشرق≠ مادية الغرب).
