Abstract EN

Through this research, we are trying to reveal a strategy of the pilgrims employed in Surat Al-Ma'idah in various shrines and contexts, which is the command and prohibition technique, which is one of the mist important linguistic and argumentative issues related to the Quranic text in general, and Surat Al-Ma'idah in particular.

The aim of this study was to highlight the argumentative value for commands and prohibitions through examples of the Surah, standing at the mechanisms of its argumentative operation, and examining the argumentative dimensions it contains.

The study reached a set of results that contributed to solving the research problem, including: that the commands and prohibitions in the Quranic text are basically a directive to the recipient, whether the latter is obtained inside ir inside or outside the text.
