The Algerian theater is one of the most Arab theaters that adopted the concept of experimentation and kept pace with the paths of striving to find theatrical forms and visual contents that are in line with the social, cognitive and aesthetic development of society, deriving multiple forms from the cultural heritage in all its dimensions and with the help of technological progress and its latest innovations.

The adoption of this concept was not limited to adult theater only, but also extended to children's theater as well, where we find serious and unique attempts in this regard, perhaps the most important of which is the attempt of the writer and journalist Youssef Baalouj, who was able to establish rules and foundations for a theater in line with the development that children know at the beginning of a new millennium and to establish the writing of a directed play.

For this child, it attracts most of his interests and meets his most important intellectual, cultural, recreational and educational needs.
