The role of artificial intelligence in enhancing critical thinking skills: a focus on EFL writing

This research investigates the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in improving critical thinking skills in the context of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) writing instruction.

Through student questionnaires, we explore EFL learners' perceptions and experiences shedding light on the effectiveness of AI integration in their writing learning journey and its impact on nurturing critical thinking abilities.

As a noteworthy addition to the literature on AI and critical thinking in EFL education, this study provides insights for educators and curriculum designers to navigate the challenges of integrating AI technology in education.
