Abstract EN

In the oral cavity, lymphangioma is a rare, henign neoplasm which originates from lymph vessels.

This lesion is common in the first decade of life and mostly occurs on the dorsal surface and luterul border of the tongue and rarely arises on the palate, gingiva, buccal mucosa and lips.

Reduction in tongue size with preservation of motor and sensory function is best accomplished by resection ofthe tip of the tongue, A case is reported and the literature is reviewed.
