Abstract EN
It is postulated that elevation of lipoprotein (a) serum concentration to more than 30 mg / dl could be considered as independent risk factor in premature heart diseases, Also it is suggested that oxidative free radical could enhance the rate of lipoprotein synthetics and thereby elevates its serum concentration.
In this study the distribution model of lipoprotein (a) serum concentration In myocardial infarction and heavy smoking were investigated.
The obtained results showed that serum concentration of this particle in myocardial infarction (80 mg / dl} and heavy smoking (51.97 mg / dl) were higher than that obtained in the control group (27.55 mg / dl), significantly (P < 0.05).
