Chronic gastritis associated with helicobacter pylori infection; a histopathologic study of 200 cases

The histopathologic findings of gastric biopsies were .studied in 20U cases of Helicobacter-pyloric (H.,pylori) positive chronic gastritis during 1994-1996.

The presence of H.pylori was classified into four grade* depending upon the density of H.pylori The histopathologicat findings such as chronic inflamma-tion.

intestinal metaplasia, presence of lymphoid follicles and the density of 11, pylori in different oge and sex groups were studied and analyzed.

The density of H.pylori didn't show any significant relation with the above parameters.
