Background: A majority of nasolacrunal due! obstructions in adults require surgical intervention.
Many methods have been prop, used for this operation such as external approach dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) andDSR by laser.
In this article transnasal DCR pins Bodkin intuhmum and its results are presented Materials and methods: transnasal DCR it as performed on IS patients (12 females and 6 males).
The majority of whom had left nasolacrimal duct obstruction.
Silicone tube intubation was per/armed in alt of these patients.
Among the operation that faded, the right Side was more often involved it is possible that the right handedness of the surgeon played a role in this failures, as the left side is more easily accessible by a right side surgeon.
Result : success rate was 89% Conclusion: This approach causes no external scar, which is cosmetically important, and has no more significant failure rale than oilier success/id and accepted methods
