Abstract EN

Magnesite mineralization of the Ingassana Hills is found within the strongly sheared serpentinized and carbonated rocks which are subjected to retrograde metamorphism.

Chemical analysis of magnesite from Ingassana Hills indicated that this magnesite is chemically suitable for the production of magnesium oxychloride cement.

The tested physical properties of the produced oxychloride cement in the laboratory (Setting time &compressive strength) indicated that it is of good quality
