Abstract EN

The study aimed at involving the students of QOU in evaluating their supervisors in respect of class meetings and determining the degree of commitment of those supervisors to the best supervision practices.

This has been done through a questionnaire that consisted of 38 items distributed over 6 domains.

The questionnaire was implemented on a sample of 1242 students who were registered in the second semester of the academic year 2005/2006 in the university centers and regions in the West Bank.

The findings of the study indicated that the whole questionnaire in addition to three domains had high average, while the other three domains averages were low.

Regarding the variables, the findings showed that there were statistically significant differences due to academic program variable at the level of meeting execution domain.

Statistical differences were found for all domains due to the other three variables, except the domain of planning & preparation of meeting at the studying level variable, the domain of interaction and relation with students at the level of meetings attendance variable.

In the light of the above mentioned results of a set of recommendations were addressed to supervisors and university officials.
