أدت دراسة الكيمياء النباتية لمستخلص لحاء جذور (Euphorbiaceae) Ricinus communis L.، الذي تم إستخلاصه بواسطة الكحول الميثيلي، إلى فصل ثلاثة مركبات جديدة تم التعرف على أنها 3α-hydroxy-pentatriacont- (ricipentatriacontanol) 14-en-26-one، (ricinusteryl benzoate) 3-O-benzyol-stigmast-5,22-dien-3β, 21-diol و (ricipiperanyl ester) dipiperenoyl methyl ester methylene بالإضافة إلى glyceride 1-oleio-2-palmitoglyceryl phosphate المعروف و ذلك بناءً على نتائج التحليل الطيفي بإستخدام الطنين النووي المغناطيسي للبروتون، كربون-13و طيف الكتلة و التفاعلات الكيميائية.

Phytochemical investigation of the methanolic extract of the root bark of Ricinus communis L.
(Euphorbiaceae) led to the isolation of three new phytoconstituents characterized as 3-hydroxypentatriacont- 14-en-26-one (ricipentatriacontanol) and 3-O-benzyol-stigmast-5, 22-dien-3, 21-diol (ricinusteryl benzoate) and dipiperenoyl methyl ester methylene (ricipiperanyl ester) along with the known glyceride 1-oleio-2-palmitoglyceryl phosphate on the basis of 1H- NMR, 13C-NMR, and Maldi Tof MS spectral data analysis and chemical reactions.
