Abstract EN
Community development is a development perspective in which development is for, by and of man.
Participation of the people becomes the main focus in the process in which self-help, felt-needs and community action constitute the basic sociological variables.
The paper examines the correlation of these variables for which people's participation is central to all of them.
The paper concludes that the success of community development is determined by the extent to which each of the variables is manipulated in the process of community participation.
Thise pattern provides feed-in information to community action and feed-back information for possible project implementation elsewhere.
