Abstract EN
Religious freedom is undoubtedly part of the fundamental rights of men, but historically.
religious freedom is not considered as a right.
«The ridda» (Apostasia} is one example for those who have justified a death sentence for those who deny their religion, and consider if as high treason.
Their justification lies in the iaea of preservation of the rights of people to carry on their cultures It is to this effect, in fact, that some have justified concentration camps or the famous Coulags in the ex, communist USSR.
The question, then, is whether we can consider religious freedom as a form of «relativism» or «concordism» Is it «tole-rance or lack of it ? The author while answering those questions, tried to demonstrate that religious freedom is not an acquired right but a quality characterising man; the latter is destined or hos a vocation to represent god on earlh.
So.
one can not talk about a real spiritual life without mentioning reigious freedom Man has volunteered to bear the burden of representing god on earth Jews, Christians and Muslims, all of us.
need to learn howto think together about what is shared among us of Abraham's heritage, without forgetting about our specificities or trying to destruct one another.
We all need lo learn how to rejpect one another and live in harmony despite our diffe-rences
Abstract FRE
A!ors.
