The Qur’an is characterized by different types of inimitabilities (the miraculous nature of the Qur’an) including: language inimitability, scientific inimitability, inimitability in the rulings of the Quran and unseen inimitability.

Muslims have exerted tremendous efforts in the interpretation of the Qu’ran, searching for different types of knowledge and guidance from this sacred book.

Despite these efforts, inimitability remains an area demanding further study.

Many studies have focused on different types of inimitabilities, but the psychological factor has not been given due attention.

This study examines this type of inimitability.

It begins with the definition of inimitability, its conditions, and its criteria.

The discussion then turns to the study of psychological inimitability in the Quran.

Views on this issue, as expounded by both earlier and contemporary scholars, are also discussed.

The psychological effect of the message of the Qur’an on the Arabs is further examined, along with various examples of such inimitability.

The study demonstrates how the Qur’an provides a remedy to many serious contemporary psychological problems,
