Abstract EN

There is no real difference between the structure & future of the academic programmes at the Arab Gulf State universities and the programmes at the other Arab universities.

The only exception is the case of King Saud University in Saudi Arabia.

The future of these academic programmes in the Gulf region dosen't seem very bright if these programmes don't improve their curricula which are classic in most cases.

The research paper attempts to focus on the basic characteristics of these programmes and their expected future.
